Simple cutting - and easy coloring - with one partially colored version for fast finishing.

Just be careful cutting at the top fold. If a cutting mistake does occur in step 4, you can easily tape it on the inside!

Thanksgiving Craft

Fine line Markers, colored pencils or crayons

Tape- for backup only

You are ready to go!

You can ask the class if they know where the phrase "we ask the Lord's blessing" comes from? Most famously it is adapted from the first line in the Thanksgiving Hymn, We Gather Together.

1. Color. Put your name on it. 2. Fold in half 3. Cut rectangle on heavy outer line through both layers

4. If the pattern you have chosen has gray areas, cut them away now, but be sure to ONLY CUT THE GRAY AWAY 5. Fold ends 6. Glue the end that says "Glue"

6 continued: Bring the part of the paper with the glue down UNDER the part with your name on it. Match the two ends of the paper.

You're done! You may need to sharpen the folds again, but it will stand up nicely if you did match the two ends of the paper. Side View
