Kid's Christmas Tree: Needs Love

Gray or green!

Nicely shaped Christmas tree not as sad as Charlie Brown's Christmas tree, but decorating the tree will make it look a lot happier! This tree has lots of widely spaced branches so kids can "hang" ornaments from them.

Also color the Christmas tree skirt but it's your choice to have the kid's add presents or not.

CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATION OPTION 1 instead of coloring
Need cheap ornaments?
Get a paper punch and at least 3 different colors of paper. Punch away! Make a small glue puddle on a paper plate or similar thing. Use a pencil eraser to dip in the glue and then dab on the tree. Lightly lick your finger to pick up a punched dot and place it on the glue on the tree! Wash the erasers when done.

Teacher can make a bunch of punched dots ahead. Plan at least 2 dozen dots per child. (Punch through at least 2 papers at once to save time)

CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATION OPTION 2 instead of coloring
Buy ornament stickers ahead of time.

CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATION OPTION 3 Time stretcher
Bring a dime for each student to use. Have them trace around the dime, color, cut and glue as ornaments. (A penny will do too)
