Especially at Easter, the egg celebrates new life and is a symbol of the new life Jesus promises us. Easter reminds us of God's love in sending His Son for us.

This great little basket holds 3 special eggs:

Choose eggs with text:I love God, I love Jesus, I love you

Or plain heart eggs

It also includes instructions for parents that can be tucked into the basket. Parents can use any of their own fridge magnets to secure this to the door.


Suggested Grades: Preschool 3's with scissors experience, through third grade.

Easter Activities, Easter Crafts


Copy of activity page for each student on white or colored paper!
Glue
Scissors
Markers or crayons
Optional Glitter glue for decoration

Gather the materials and print 1 activity page for each child.


 

DO IN THIS SEQUENCE TO ALLOW BASKET TO DRY!

1. Identify the parts:


2. Color the heart and decorations on the bakset.
DO NOT COLOR OVER THE WORDS "GLUE"
Option: Apply glitter glue now or later.

3. Put your name on the basket bottom where shown.

4. Cut out the basket only at this time.

9. Color, cut and decorate the eggs and cut the parent instructions.

When the basket is dry, put the eggs and instructions in the basket. Be sure to read the instructions to the children, so they will be excited to share them with their parents.

Parent instructions are: Put flat side of basket against refrigerator door and put a magnet inside the basket against the door. Then put the paper eggs in the basket!
