Picture Bibles for children in Uganda

We feel God's love in doing God's work by equipping the teachers in Jinja, Uganda to cross language differences and share Bible stories through pictures. To see the rest of the Sunday school, and to read more look near the bottom of this page.

Outward Faith Missions 2008

February: Feeding the 5,000? Really, together with 800 other people, feeding the 135,000! A great Faith turnout to pack meals for Feed The Starving Children. In just a few hours of time, with great teamwork, we hand-packed meals for children - mostly children in orphanages in Haiti.

Ministry to Children

We recognize the hope and future of the world depends on our children. Our goal is to bring memorable and exciting ways for children to learn about Jesus, God and being a Christian through our own kids crafts and activities freely shared*.

WORSHIP, LEARN and SERVE

Come and Worship!

We are small but strong!

December 2013 we provide lap blankets for wheelchair bound patients in a nursing home and assisted living facility.

March 2008: Seeding the 5,000

Seeds of Faith are being planted in Haiti, by our own Rev. Don Conley. Don went on a mission trip with Wheaton College to sing and plant. We provided almost 5,000 vegetable seeds for him and his fellow missionairies to plant.

Prior Mission Examples:

- Providing school supplies to children in need

- Tiny trees for seniors

December 2011 and 2012
Faith feeds the homeless in the PADS program in Des Plaines.

More young children in the Uganda Sunday School

Our dearest Flavia, who originally reached me through the sundayschoolkids web site is pictured below on your far right with the pinkish print dress and blue sweater.

She tells me: "The kids were really happy and wanted to read the books and take some home but we told them to read them at church. they shall be reading every Sunday after lessons. We normally have 2 hours with the kids, the first hour we do praise, worship, pray, give in offerings, testimonies for about 30 minutes, then we have a lesson for approxmately 40 minutes then we pray for new kids in sunday school and those who wanted to receive Jesus for 20 minutes and them sometimes the rest of the 20 minutes are free but sometimes lessons go past time."

Join Us for Fellowship

Throughout the year, we enjoy "Dining Out" evenings for fellowship, food and fun. It's "Dutch Treat" at various restaurants in the Chicago suburban area.

In the summer, traditionally, we gather together for the 4th of july parade and picnic or worship at "Faith Northwest" for a day of fun on the lake.

Join us as we experience great faith music concerts in the Chicago suburban area.
