Kids in grades 4-8 are much less apt to be satisfied with coloring pages or coloring activities, but they love to doodle - especially while listening. This activity reinforces the hearing by doing and is not distractive. This activity is meant to be done during the reading of the scriptures or story of creation. A great way to approach God's creation is to read about one day, stop, and discuss what they imagine it was like; how God did it (usually He only needs to say it is so); and what, if anything, did God say about it. We offer 2 related on-line creation programs - an interactive Creation Review that's really fun, and Points to Think about for each day, along with the Bible verses. If your class has no access to computers, you might print the Thinking Points to use as your key to a discussion. |
