Older kid's (grade 4 through 8 generally)
like to doodle while they listen. Put that doodling to good use.
Let them doodle (fill-in the shapes) while you are
talking or a story is being read.
Ask them to find any symbols of God or Jesus on the
egg.
Discuss the egg as a symbol of new life.
Tell them they may doodle in the colors however they
like.
TEAMBUILDING FUN: Ask for Volunteer cutters (1 for
every 4 or 5 kids) and Volunteer Gluers (1 for every 4 or 5 kids - and
NOT the cutters.) BUT everyone folds and presses to complete their own
egg. |

|
Grades: 3-8 but grades 1 to 3 who can
color tiny spaces can do it too. |
